Living with a disability in a society such as ours and being a woman can be very very depressing, difficult and heart breaking. I say this because I am a woman with a visible permanent disability. It is hard living with any form of disability respective of your gender. However, I think it is quite difficult and more challenging for any disabled woman in our society. A lot of women have been abandoned by family and friends, some have been subjected to physical abuse, rape, penury and torture.

This is why Freky has taken it upon herself to help other girls/women living with disability through her foundation "Faecare Foundation....Hope Again Initiative". She believes when a woman is given the right help, support and opportunity, she can make something out of her life, become a voice and a channel to reach other people. To achieve this, Faecare Foundation is reaching out to women through her vocational training and internship programs in hope that at the end of the program with close monitoring and mentor-ship, participants confidence and self-esteem is restored, she will gain education in her chosen skill, she is empowered and ready to conquer her world.

Through this program, women will actively participate, contribute, and function as a member of a community. Faecare Foundation is about building bridges, reaching out and empowering one girl/woman at a time.
