It's like a scene from a modern day fairy tale.
A young bride, swept up in the romance of her wedding day, walks hand-in-hand with her handsome groom, a faux fur coat slung effortlessly over her shoulders.
Australian model Madeline Stuart, who has Down syndrome, has featured in a bridal shoot, continuing her work to challenge society's perceptions of people living with a disability.
The beautiful photographs, taken at Rixey Manor in Virginia, the US, show Madeline dressed in a series of elegant bridal gowns.
The 18-year-old is effortlessly beautiful as she and her groom sweep across the dance floor, her full-skirt doing little to deter her from spinning hand-in-hand with her partner.
At one point Madeline leans in for a kiss, her hair pulled back in to an elegant knot.
Madeline shared a photo from the heart-felt shoot to her Instagram, much to the delight of her 119,000 followers.
'I truly hope you know just how beautiful you are. Best wishes for a beautiful life,' one person wrote.
'You are a role model,' wrote another.
Be your own beautiful... Do and pursue what you love irrespective of your disability.
