Anxiety is a feeling of unease, frustration, nervousness, worry about something with an uncertain outcome. In today's world, we are constantly living a leading a life full of work and stress so it is very difficult sometimes to find time to rest and relax. Things such as bills, health,
family, finance, job etc keep piling up making us horde with tension and adding to our stress level causing anxiety.
I have come to realise that it is not easy to relax the mind. With the mind wondering, we cant sleep, eat or do a lot because we are tensed, afraid, worried and anxious. This can have a toll on the way our hearts function and can be extremely detrimental you our health.
Below are some natural remedies that can help lessen your anxiety level over a period of time.
- Breakfast: A healthy breakfast can go a long way. Skipping one can increase your anxiety level.
- Exercise: Working out is healthy for your heart and general well-being. Exercise have been found to be a great antidote to anxiety and depression and it is also good for the brain.
- Take Chamomile: a cup of chamomile great for your health. Studies have also found that it has similar components as Valium.
- Green tea: Replace your coffee with green tea for some time and see how great you will feel. Green tea contains amino acid and it has been found to be a solution to a lot of health problems. It is also great for the hair..... try washing your hair with green tea especially the Japanese green tea.
- Meditation: Read the Bible and other motivational books, listen to great music and just meditate on them and you will never remain the same.
- Pray; Prayer changes a lot of things. It deals with our life issues in all areas seen and unseen. Learn to communicate with God on how you feel while trusting in His word and watch Him take care of you.
- Yoga and Dance; This is another great way to deal with anxiety. Play your favourite music and just dance.
