Good Morning Fam! It's another Monday and I just thought to share with you on some workplace behavior to avoid this year. Okay! take it a little further by avoiding the culprits and if you are one, please change and work on your habits.
Workplace etiquette's are very important and we cannot over emphasize that. however, you will always find someone in every office who is badly behaved....... those who do not respect office etiquette's.
Here's a list of some behaviors i find really offending and inappropriate.
- Negativity and constant complaining: Hmmm there people who can COMPLAIN! like the are negative and complain just about everything. I know we all complain and become negative over certain things but, some individuals take it to the extreme. Avoid complainants and negative people because this behavior can rob off on you and reflects on your job.
- Gossip: OOH how I hate gossips. I know this bad behavior is a fact of life in many offices, gossiping undermines the gossiper's credibility in the workplace. The flip side of office gossip is that it gets back to the person you gossiped about. Your co-workers will be less open with you if you are a gossiper.
- Thievery: People steal different thing in the office. Stealing is against workplace ethics however, stealing other people's work and taking credit for it wont win you certain things. This will only create less trusting and collaborative atmosphere between you and your co-workers.
- Office ashewo: You don't have to date every tom, dick and harry in you place of work. I know office romance are inevitable but when it involves two married people, a married man/woman with singles, old 'papas' chasing IT student's......... is a no no for me.
- Making faces behind your co-workers back.
- Borrow borrow
- Rumor monger's
- Loud talkers etc.
Bad behaviors at work can be bad for business as it affects productivity. At workplace, every employee must act as a role model.

Oshey! Nor be small Office Ashawo oh! lmao! heheheh Thing is yeah.. Life is life! annnddd.. No matter how we preach it oh! if we like leRRus do eet as morning Cry with high pitched megaPhone eh.. Dia will always be people who do all and more of the above.. So i think the koko is like you rightly said.. i.e for us to just Dey our own lane and stay away from those not officially (for a lack of a better word) in Sync with us :)..
