TODAY IS WORLD AIDS DAY!!! LOVE DON'T JUDGE....

Hey people!!! Today is world AIDS Day... Yes it is. It is a day set aside to give people worldwide the opportunity to come together to create awareness, educate, campaign, support and honour people living with the disease and help fight against HIV/AIDS. It's basically about doing something to mark the day. You don't have to be a celebrity to join in this fight...... let's not leave everything to celebrities in our society because this is a fight every individual should be involved in.

Our focus should surround issues on HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). Since it's declaration in December 1, 1988 by the World Health Organization, the day has always been observed on this date each year ever since. Hiv/Aids kills..... prevention is better than cure.

 HOW YOU CAN CONTACT HIV/AIDS.

• Through unprotected sex, oral sex, and sex toy.
• Through contaminated blood transfusion, transmission from an infected mother to her baby during pregnancy, birth or through breast feeding.
• Sharing needle and other sharp objects with infected person.

PREVENTING HIV/AIDS.

The truth is that anyone is at risk of having Hiv if care is not taken. If you have unprotected sex with an infected person you are likely to get Hiv. 

• So total abstinence is the best prevention measure. However, if you can't PLEASE use a condom for sex.
• Never share needle or any sharp object with anyone no matter who the person is... you never know
• Know your Hiv status and that of your partner.

If you have the disease, sharing it with unsuspecting individuals is not the best way to handle it. Don't spread it, see a doctor and take your medication always. You can still have a life even after HIV/AIDS. And to you who don't have the disease, don't discriminate against those that do.... Love them and show support. STAY AND LIVE SAFE...
