BATTLING WITH THE BOTTLE?

Hello everyone, how una dey? So today I decided to do a post on alcohol. Hmmm what's the reason for this post Sharon you ask?..... I saw something today that made me cringe just a little bit so I thought to share this with you  just incase anyone is battling with the bottle here. We all know that life is full of ups and downs, pressures from all corners pushes people into certain things they ought not to be involved in. A lot of people (both young and old) have been driven to cling on things they feel can give them relief and peace of mind due to pressure from work, relationships, economic wahala, career, children, LIFE!!!
Sadly, one of the many routes some people in our society have is the way of  "THE BOTTLE". Folks the way of the bottle is destructive, it is a temporary relief on a possible permanent problem. It will kill you faster than you can imagine. The funny thing about clinging to the bottle is that, the pain you are going through will remain when your head is cleared. Frustration will definitely set in...... When frustrated, it can drive you to the brick of self harm, suicide and even death.

An individual might not necessarily be an alcoholic that always cling to the bottle however, drinking problems often start with a bottle and then it can progress from there. The season we are in is one filled with "merriment, enjoyment and lots of oshofree". One of the things people will happily hand you this season is the bottle. Oshofree dey purge!!!

However, when going through stuff, talk to someone you can trust with that information. Remember, physical and mental dependency on alcohol when troubled is seeking a temporary solution to a possible permanent problem. Check yourself!!! do you have alcohol problems? do you always run off to grab "the bottle" when sad, excited, mad, troubled?. etc. Hmmm once you are addicted, getting over that addiction will be a lifelong process. The first step for healing is for the addicted to admit and acknowledge that there is a problem.

Watch what you do and how you behave so as not to end up !Battling with the bottle... In this country, am not sure we have rehabilitation facilities that handle these kind of societal issues. sadly victims, individuals and family members have to deal with it themselves. Your journey towards getting help starts with you drawing up motivating reasons why you should face your addiction. HELP CANNOT BE FOUND IN THE BOTTLE..... DON'T COMPLICATE YOUR LIFE.
