Hey fam!!!! I hope your week is going good? For me, so far so good. Okay!!! Yesterday, I read something that made a lot of sense to me. The article was talking about staying connected to "the power source" as a christian. You see, at this time of the year, there is a lot of spiritual exercises going on. Everyone is trying to lay a good foundation for the year by starting it on a spiritual level. Now this could be personal or cooperatively done depending on your denomination or religion.
In this generation, mobile phones is one of the best thing that ever happened to man. However, the battery life of this device has a limited life span and requires that it be charged from time to time. If paraventure you place your mobile on it's charger without plugging the charger to the electrical socket (power source), no matter how long it stays in it's charger, it will never be charged. Question is was the mobile phone in the right place? Yes. was it connected to a power source? No. You see staying in the right place or environment doesn't make it useful. It will only be useful if it is constantly plugged to a power source.
The above example can be likened to a believer. One who is always in church, but not plugged personally to the power of God. It doesn't matter if you know the bible by heart, sit on the pew, always learning, you will never be able to come to God's truth. Yes!! you can do great things for God and still lack His power in your life.
"You see, multiplication of effort isn't a substitute for true power. Guard your heart against things that disconnect from the power source".
